In February 2006, our Principal Physiotherapist Loyola Elford purchased the local established Physiotherapy business located at the corner of Stafford and Cutbush Roads. Loyola had been working as a Physiotherapist in the local area for 17 years. The opportunity to purchase the practice from Physiotherapist John Wilford came as John was retiring. The business was then known as Everton Park Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre. The practice had 4 treatment rooms and a very small exercise space. It also had a small kitchen and office space where Physios enjoyed their lunch… sitting on the floor!
Loyola worked long hours to build the practice and things started to grow…
Other therapists came on board bringing their experience and team spirit including Elaine, Gavin, Jeremy, Tim and Bess. From the very beginning in 2006, Colleen has served as Practice Manager. Colleen is renowned for her diligence, and her warm hearted and caring nature. She is a great organizer, loves a good chat with patients and has some serious culinary skills that we all benefit from!!
The Practice expanded to the point where it outgrew the space available at the clinic. In May 2015, the Woolworths complex was finally finished, and Everton Park Physiotherapy moved into its new spacious rooms. It now had a new home at 768 Stafford Road.
The new modern clinic now boasts 6 treatment rooms with an exercise rehabilitation area to promote fitness and pain free movement within our treatment sessions and classes.

As part of the modernization process the practice was renamed Everton Park Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy and our logo design was also given a new colourful revamp …in Loyola’s favourite colours! In 2016 we celebrated our 10 year anniversary in style.
Although the premises and clinic have grown at Everton Park Physiotherapy, our standards and quality of care have remained the same. The practice prides itself on providing Hands on Treatment, Tailor Made Exercises and facilitating Self- Management. The Practice has expanded into a busy clinic, however, it still continues to cater to the local community and look after our Medicare, DVA, and WorkCover patients.
