Loyola has been a physiotherapist since 1977 after graduating from the University of Queensland and in 2022 celebrated 45 years as a Physiotherapist. She has worked mainly in private practice and has been working in the Everton Park and Stafford area for over 35 years. Loyola took over the Everton Park Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre in early 2006 and has continued developing the clinic and diversifying services to meet the needs of the growing local community.
Loyola works predominantly with poor core stability, postural analysis and correction, and chronic injuries and rehabilitation. She is highly experienced particularly in the treatment of spinal pain and headaches as well as shoulder and pelvic girdle dysfunction and muscle imbalances. She believes in hands on treatment to reduce pain and stiffness, and developing an exercise plan for her patients for both acute and chronic management. Loyola has completed a vestibular rehabilitation course to assess and treat patients with vertigo and vestibular dysfunction. She is a member of the Musculoskeletal, Sports and Continence and Women’s Health Groups within the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Emily graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has since been working in private practice. This has allowed her to gain valuable experience treating a variety of conditions including acute, chronic and sporting injuries, post surgical (acute and rehab) and cardio-respiratory conditions.
Emily ensures that all patients receive a holistic approach that is tailored to their individual needs. She is dedicated to delivering high quality health care and is passionate about helping people return to meaningful activities and everyday lives.

Julian completed a Masters in Physiotherapy studies at UQ, after completing a Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto, and an Exercise Science and Lifestyle Management Certification at Humber College. Julian comes from an extensive sporting background in ice hockey and has had over two years of experience as an exercise physiologist and strength and conditioning coach specialising in musculoskeletal injury, injury prevention and returning athletes back to sport.
Julian is passionate about returning patients to their daily activities via hands on treatment to reduce pain and developing individualized exercise prescriptions that help strengthen a patients function and prevent future injury.

Laura completed her Master of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland. She has worked as a healthcare practitioner for over ten years with a background of working in operating theatres, post-anaesthetic care and day surgery as a Registered Nurse.
Laura believes in providing a personalised approach for her clients and creating tailored treatments to meet their individual goals. She believes in hands-on pain management as well as developing strategies to assist clients to manage pain, stiffness and disability.
Outside of work you will find Laura spending time with her human and fur family, hitting the gym for some strength training, in the Pilates studio or out exploring on her bike.

Beck has been working in health and fitness for over 10 years. She is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and registered NurtureLife® Pregnancy Massage Practitioner, an Exercise Specialist and Personal Trainer, a certified prenatal & postnatal trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a certified Pilates, yoga, boxing and Zumba instructor. Beck is also a certified Childbirth Educator and registered member of CAPEA (Childbirth and Parenting Educators of Australia).
Beck has worked with many clients in both class and one on one settings, to help them achieve their health and fitness goals, and she has a strong focus on safe exercise prescription, core and postural stability, corrective exercise, injury prevention and rehabilitation. She also has a special interest in pregnancy and postnatal massage, exercise, yoga and Pilates, and is passionate about helping women to have a healthy pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond.

Bess is our Pilates and women’s health physiotherapist at the practice. A University of Queensland graduate, Bess has clinical experience in women’s health, geriatrics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Bess organises and implements our Clinical Pilates Program using mat and reformer work. She has also developed our Falls Prevention Program specifically designed to help improve balance and regain confidence with mobility in the ageing population. Bess has completed a vestibular rehabilitation course which allows her to assess and treat patients with vertigo and vestibular dysfunction.
With her considerable experience with Clinical Pilates, Bess designs individual programs that range from acute rehabilitation to injury prevention. These programs compliment her hands-on treatments of both chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions. Bess has a special interest in women’s health, specifically obstetrics with the management of pain and dysfunction during pregnancy as well as maintaining prenatal and postnatal fitness with Pilates. She has completed courses in Women’s Health and Incontinence and in Childbirth Education and is a registered member of CAPEA (Childbirth and Parenting Educators of Australia).
